Our Mission

Medina deserves the finest…and everyone deserves a second chance.

People who struggle with substance abuse and addiction can be helped, with support, treatment and training.

The Recovery Center of Medina County operates Sérénité Restaurant and Culinary Institute with the mission of strengthening our communities by supporting people in recovery.

Sérénité helps to change the face of recovery by providing essential on-the-job training for students in the program and generates revenue to support the recovery center and our efforts.

Whether you are a full fledged supporter of the cause or trying our menu for the first time, get ready to be amazed! The food and service will be delightful, and you’ll witness the power of a second chance, and what your support can mean to an individual…and to a community.

We thank you for your support. Bon Appeitite!

The first time my husband and I went to Sérénité we had an amazing experience. Cary, Wendy, and Taylor made us feel at Home. We have returned over and over bringing in friends, family, and business associates. The message of the program touches our hearts and we have helped in our own way, donating household items and clothes. When the idea to join the board was brought up I thought this would give me an opportunity to help in a more meaningful way.
